Safeguarding your pupils and every young child is paramount. TA Recruitment have a comprehensive list of checks that every candidate has to go through before they are aloud to go out for work. At no point is the safeguarding of children put at risk and every candidates file is signed off by 3 senior members of staff before attending a school.
Our Safeguarding Checks
We undertake safeguarding checks in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education. We also ensure all our workers have undertaken our in house accredited Safeguarding and Prevent training and this is renewed annually.
Specifically, we undertake the following checks:
- ID Check
- Barred List
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Overseas Police Check if applicable.
- Prohibition from teaching orders
- Childcare Disqualification Declaration
- Right to work in the UK
- References and employment history
- Qualifications & Qualified Teacher Status
- Safeguarding Qualification
- Imposter Check
Our forms make it easy for you to store the safeguarding process required by Ofsted and the DfE statutory guidance:
- Our email booking confirmation provides details of the checks we have undertaken on your worker in a format to enable you to complete your Single Central Record. This includes a picture of the candidate and they are required to bring their ID on their first day so you can ensure the worker turning up is the worker that was booking through us.
